I don't really have the desire to download videos, just the audio which I put on my cell phone . I could see doing some video downloading too some time if I can't get online for video I guess

I use Freemake Video Downloader to pull videos from Youtube. It also has the option to extract audio. I usually just use it to download videos to keep offline on my android tablet. I don't really have the desire to download videos, just the audio which I put on my cell phone . I could see doing some video downloading too some time if I can't get online for video I guess you should check out keltex suggestion, freemake.com. i just now used it for the first time. seems really cool and you can convert vids to mp3.

I will download these and give it a shot if they are clean when i downloaded it had numerous add-ons preselected but you could uncheck them with custom download if i can recall. as for adware/spyware i have no idea.

I've had no issues with malware coming though with Freemake. Just make sure you read everything and uncheck any optional toolbar/software components that may be bundled...
