As the subject states I cant get my throttle cable to reach the notch. I have the holder for the cable as far forward as possible and i have the adjustment up by my handlebars as far as it will go. any suggestions?

take the carb out. should only need to remove it from air box and intake manifold. that should give you enough room to play with.

Yep or perhaps reroute it
Did you check it for length before you installed it?

Looks like the cable is too short. Are you sure it's the right one or that it was the same length as the other one?

the cable i have is stock, the kit didnt come with one. So i would be guessing i need to get a cable thats about 2 inches longer? and if so where would be a good place to get that?

You can get a make your own cable/repair kit at Wal-Mart and just replace the inner piece...
Also any decent bicycle shop can make a little better one for a small fee. Take your old cable with you...

I see no other way of rerouting i already took the plastics off and it seems to me that its got the best route. it has to come from the right side of the motor looking at the tail because of the bend in the attachment piece. If i come from the left side of the motor the line wants to kink and roll. What i dont get is what i said in my quote. i pulled the line tight all the way untill i get the end. and the line can reach my rear wheel axle. but when i go to route the cable around the carb to the attachment bracket and pull the cable in the line nothing comes out shouldnt i be able to pull what extra cable is already there out? or am i just being crazy?
