I listen to Car Stuff podcast on howstuffworks.com in their 2 part episode they mention this website. cycle-ergo.com/Its pretty cool, I have been looking up motorcycles and scooters to see how they might fit me. Good thing with scooters is most are about the same just more leg room on bigger ones.

I found out the motorcycle I thought would be good for me because of a 30" seat height has a more crampt knee angle 76 desgrees for me with a 34inch inseam. Even a Honda rebel which I have stood next to looks small but it said on there its a bigger knee angle. degrees Yamaha V star 250 has a 101 degree knee angle. So I have an idea on what 250cc standard/cruiser bike I'd want. Then I can just go to the dealer and sit on one at least and test ride when the time comes.

I like the angles of the man on a first gen SV650. Looks nice and relaxed, not a lot of bend over (forward lean) to reach the handlebars.

Yeah I'm not a fan of forward lean or sport bikes for that reason.
Sure I can't argue they look cool and are fast but I just don't like them.
Course like the saying "can't knock it until you tried it".
Although I got three bike I narrowed down to.
1. Tu250X Suzuki 2. Honda Rebel or Honda shadow 250 cruiser bikes 3. Yamaha V-Star 250
Or similar models, I want to try a name brand motorcycle for my next ride. I had enough headaches and tinkering with the china scooter I had.

Suzuki holds up.. I've owned two
A 2001 GS500 and a 2003 SV1000
Great bikes.
I just found and discovered the TU250x! I'm really interested in knowing more. I know I can get a 500 or a SV650 for $2500 to $3000 which is where I want to spend(a older bike - 10 years old or around). I am looking for used prices for the TU250x. But if I can get a 2002 SV 650 for $2500 and TU250x the same, I will probably pick the 650.
I really like the looks of the TU250x

Yeah it grabbed my attention, its a cool retro looking bike. Simple and yet its hard to find!
I went to a dealer and they said they sold it days before! And this place has probably at least 50 motorcycles and scooters and more dirt bikes.
I haven't been back there, its a 30-45min drive to get there and the other motorcycle dealer is a few miles farther.
On craigslist, I still see a bunch of Honda Rebels, a few V-stars I saw a 650 V-star on there for 2800 I think. But as far as finding a TU they seem to be not many of them or everyone is buying them up right now.

at my local dealer they have a 2013 model at $4,400 when on KBB it states on there "an excellent condition buy from dealer" and the retail on KBB says $3,700. When I go I'll tell them that and I'll pay that price for it as is. If not, well I'm walking away. Which I'm sure they'd come down some or have some dumb reason why its marked up. Retail price is marked up. I think 3,700 is reasonable for brand new. www.kbb.com/motorcycles/suzuki/tu250x/2013-suzuki-tu250x/suggestedretailvalue/

People on craigslist list their stuff higher than KBB value on older bikes and they aren't excellent condition.
I guess people don't research the value, and try for what they'd like out of it.
Course when I sell I give the firm price. I don't like haggling much.
