I ride around with my hi beams on at night(four halogen not sure how many watt) and nobody flashes me,,they are good enough,,but the low beam is useless. Let us know bro!! Tom I know what you mean! In my case, I'd do the same thing, EXCEPT that my low-beams are aimed perfectly (as bad as they are) and as such, my high-beams shoot 30 feet up into the trees... NEVER DO hit the road at all. If I got the high-beams down on the road, the low beams would be hitting the front fender... and the highs are still too weak. Gotta at least TRY the LED's...Thanks! Leo

I haven't read thru this thread well, but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. My beams suck too, but they work okay. Was wondering in another thread about brighter lights but I think we came to conclusion that your stuck with the factory bulbs and lights. Let us know if you are able to improve them and we would also benefit! Guess I'll try to read through this thread a bit more for more info. I use my brights often and haven't gotten flashed for them, but I am still afraid of blinding oncoming traffic. If they can't see they may come over in my lane

FYI...
By now, I've messaged most every seller on eBay offering these type of lights, concerning their compatibility with 12V AC Chinese scooter headlight circuits. So far EVERY seller SAYS they will work with AC. Several said they'd work OK, but recommend hooking up directly to the battery, since they "draw so little current".
If they WILL work on 12V AC, and do NOT require DC connection, they'd be a "piece of cake" to hook up, simply replacing the existing high-beam. Worth a try, and I'll do so as soon as the old budget allows...
