I've been stopped once, riding off the curb, by a cop. You can't take no motorized vehicle on the sidewalks no matter what. However, if you push it off the sidewalk I can't see anyone would object. I've seen scoots being tied to a tree somewhere.

That should be ample for most places. A typical put-put scooter weighs about 250lbs. Not going to be easy to pick one up because of the bulkiness let alone two. Not so. (Just ask any member who's had their scoot stolen) Even a relatively heavy scoot like a 250 is "fair" game . A group of lowlifes pull up to the "Merchandise" in a van or pickup, and working together, can have it loaded and gone in the blinking of an eye. LOCK UP YOUR SCOOT... (to some immovable object) It may not stop them even then, but why make it easy? She's talking about two scooters.

Great idea Rocky! Sounds much easier and cheaper then anything else I have seen.
