The gas is mid grade, Just finished it up and will be getting high grade from now on(I got it when I got the scoot and had no knowledge that high is good to run in scoots because of cleaner burning or something like that ). The compression sure has changed. It's not an insane amount or anything, the starter can still get it started and the kick start works fine too but you can tell it's got more. Everything here is first time for me. With two cars down in the driveway, I can't afford to have the scoot break down to. Makes me nervous. I would almost call it a knock really. Tomorrow I'll try to get a recording of it. It may not catch the sounds perfectly but it's definitely different from the tapping of the valves.

Got that video yet? I've heard before that different grades of gasoline can cause knocking? But I'm not sure. I'm not experienced enough to give you advice on this particular issue, so I'll just bump your thread 'til we find some expert advice.

Sorry, I've been having trouble finding time for the video lately. I should have some time tomorrow if the weather is good
