Not really. Momma cat is natural, and not affected by our groundless human emotions. A two faced cat wouldn't survive five seconds without human intervention. Not meant to live, let it die.

There was a Nature ep where they were following a family of lemurs. And there was a white baby (not albino though, I think) that they really focused on. And everything was going fine, until weeks later they were moving on again and this time the young white one got left behind. And it became apparent nobody was coming back for him. And the scientists just allowed him to die, filmed the whole thing. I know, "that's nature and we can't get involved". Well, if you know he's dying and you know nobody's coming back, then save him. Esp when he's unique. Take him and try to help him and give him to a zoo if he recovers. That way you haven't disturbed the natural order at all. Disgusted me. Couldn't watch the rest of the show.
Same thing with this kitten. I think if it can survive with human help for now, then give it the chance. If there's no chance it can live without a lot of human help the rest of its life, then yes, let it die. But do it gently.
It's like preemie babies. They're not meant to live, but intervention allows them to live and often be very productive as adults.
I know, that's really not the same. I'm just saying if this kitten can survive to be a productive cat on its own, then help it for now.

I wholeheartedly beleive in the kevorkian method.Euthenasia, when there is no hope for any quality of life should be legal. Having seen many people(family members included) wither away to nothing and suffer in pain and agony, Just so some doctor or hospital can keep on collecting money from insurance policys, should be outlawed. I have a DNR (do not recussitate) order. I for one do not want my life prolonged by artificial methods, when GOD says it's time to go.We should all take clues from nature. The animals instinctively know when to let go. Who are we to interfere?

I'm' not sure what I feel about assisted death.
But I am a advocate of the "let em' die if its time" approach.
