At a local dealer here the Rocky out the door price is around $1,800 while you can still get a 125cc Aprilia scooter for around $2,000 to $2,200 out the door. At about $2,400 out the door you could be getting a 200cc Aprilia Scarabeo. At $2,999 you are comparing a 250cc Aprilia to a 150cc GY6.

Things are changing and those that look around may find that with dealer financing instead of dropping a credit card the Italian bikes from Aprilia can be very affordable. Just watch out for disreputable dealers who jack up the prices and try to keep the factory incentive money for themselves instead of passing it on to the customer.
