A 125 MAINJET!! It had a 103 in there that is to big you will flood the poor thing. For a stock motor WITH free flow filter and free flow exhaust 4-6 sizes up from what is in there is what the motor will take. No more than a #115 main jet with those 2 mods and it depends on the compression the motor is making. Alleyoop

Hmm, ok. I have read about so many people using 120 - 130 main jets. I thought about picking up a 115, but just grabbed a 125. I'll probably head down to the shop on Monday and pick up a 115. Any thoughts on the bowl o-ring, would it expand soaked in kerosene or carb cleaner or something like that?

Usually it is the other way around, you take off the carb bowl and it is stretched out from the gas. So if it shrunk just soak it in gasoline. Alleyoop

Ok, so I got the carb together with a 115 main jet. I put the high performance (orange) coil and wire on and the upgraded CDI. I got fuel in the bowl and started it up. It ran pretty good for not being tuned. It actually started up better than it has in a while. One strange thing however was when it started, my headlight and dash lights didn't come on. Everything else worked, turn signals, horn and emergency flashers. Probably just a coincidence and I haven't checked any fuses yet, but just strange. Also, have any of you put on the K&N style filters? I purchased one and it fits the inlet of the carb good but it won't fit inside of the frame. I'm thinking about using the part of the stock air hose to just get past the frame section and then connect to the filter. It will work, but just wanted to see if anyone had a more elegant solution.
