OOPS... Need to see which one you're talking about. No picture or reference in your post.
I'm in the process of replacing my own exhaust system on my Xingyue Eagle 150 right now. One thing I know for sure is that NO two scooters are the same... LOL! The exhaust port in the head varies slightly in angle from one type of GY6 to another and the way the mufflers attach to the scooter is totally "up for grabs". If the engine's exhaust port is "off" just a few degrees from the way the head-pipe is welded to the header, it can put the muffler several inches "outside" its normal position, or, in the opposite case, into the rear wheel.
In addition, the majority of both factory, and aftermarket systems use the factory-dimension header which is considerably SMALLER diameter than the exhaust port! Cheesh! THAT puts a major restriction just an inch or so from the exhaust valve. It's a TERRIBLE design, probably "engineered" to allow the header to bend sharp enough to place the pipe between the engine and frame. (If the pipe exits BELOW the frame, which would make sense, unfortunately, it will hit obstructions like speed-bumps before the strong center-stand and THAT would ruin the engine.)
No matter what muffler you choose, I'd strongly recommend you find a quality performance head pipe with a FULL 1-INCH inside diameter. Your engine will definitely thank you with more power, easier tuning, better gas mileage and cooler running.
As for wanting it quiet, most any "can" style muffler from stock, to performance should be quiet enough. I tested my home-built header with a 2-foot extension just for function, and found that even with a wide-open "straight-pipe" it wasn't all that loud. I'd think you'll be happy with any factory-made muffler; "shorty", full-size, stock-type or high-performance. After CONSIDERABLE experimentation though, I truly do believe the header diameter is much more important than the type of muffler...
I think you can find a good, performance-oriented, FULL-SIZED header from several of the better vendors, but they're a little pricey (around $50) but WELL worth it. Then, use any muffler you like. No matter WHAT system you choose, you will most likely have to modify any mounting hardware, or make mounts yourself. It's not hard at all to make a mount from aluminum bar-stock.
There are numerous posts right on this site concerning the different ways riders have attached new exhaust systems. I'll post my own as soon as I get it done. I chose to make a free-breathing header from a used, scrap "John Deere" generator 1" inside-diameter head-pipe, grafted to a length of 1 1/8" inside-diameter RV flex-exhaust tubing to get it where it ends up near the stock muffler connection. For a muffler, I'm using the rear portion of an expansion/contraction chamber exhaust made for a 50cc GY6. It looks like it will work out well, but I'll have to reserve any opinions until I can ride it some.
Please do post a picture of the system you're considering... I'm sure you'll get plenty of good advice from the many of us who had to replace their own rotting, rattling muffs... LOL!
Ride safe, if not quiet...

I don't want to replace the header just the can mine rattles. You caught me still "on-line"... They all do that after a while... LOL!Your choices for a simple muffler-can replacement are limitless... For easy installation, I'd go with the one that most closely matches your factory muff. Do check your header though, since by the time the muffler rattles, the header is usually getting loose, and the gasket between it and the head needs replacing. While you're wrenching on it though, I'd still consider a better header. It might bring a real improvement in engine performance, regardless of muffler type. Sincerely, Leo
