Just curious if anybody knows if I can get a stroker crank for my magnum 300. In my never ending quest for more power I'm getting an itch to mod this trike. From what I understand these are 250cc engines bored out to 276cc.

I knew a fellow that specialized in the performance on those. He said not to mess with the displacement and to do a port and polish on the head instead.

I didn't think so, all my searches came up nada. Guess I'll do a port and polish Then throw on fuel injection.
Thanks for the replies.

at one time I saw a kit for a big bore, but I understand the porting and polishing is really the way to go.

I contacted on company about theirs and offered to intall it on a Magnum and do a 300 write up on theirs if they would give a better price and they said no. So that took care of that. Still looking. I was one of the first to try that efi system on my 50. Matt was very helpful when I was installing it. I was thinking about removing it from the 50 to install on the 300.But I will need a larger throttle body with a bigger injector. So I might as well get a new kit.

So it is already a 300 cc ? I have seen a 30cc BBK for a CFMoto 250cc that had a forged piston instead of cast like most are but it was from Scootertronics which I have read many times they are shady .
EFI is great ! !! My Echarm is my first 2 wheeler with EFI and wow I must say instant starts regardless of the weather or engine temp , never idles high when cold , performance is almost like having a small turbo compared to a carb and better MPG . Mine has a Ducatti EFI system that is closed and would require a Ducatti dealer to flash or mod it and both Ducatti dealers in town did not want to touch it . The Ecotrons comes with cables and software to setup the parameters like rev limit or not etc , and to me this is a great bonus to have .
So if yours is a 300cc how fast can it go ?

I'm thinking about another ecotrons kit as I have experience with them. I am not sure how I would mount the fuel pump as the tank is lower than the carb.. and the tank is a real pita to get to. The 300 is actually a true 276cc It will hit 75 pretty easy on level ground. The fastest I have pushed it so far is 80mph by gps. the speedo was reading and it started vibrating bad, so I didn't push it any more but it still had some left. This magnum is still stock except for the horn and head lights. I have installed 55w hids and a bad boy duel air horn. Roy

with the EFI system pump it does not matter if the tank is lower than the carb it will push the gas to it with about 40 psi

Depends on weather or not the pump will create enough suction to pull the fuel out of the tank. Some pumps must be primed to work. If they don't have fuel in them they will burn out. I'm not sure if the outlet is in the bottom of this tank or if the fuel pump has to suck it out from the top.

i see your point but if you mount the pump close to the bottom of the tank it should not be an issue
