At drug houses after police raids, they're finding hundreds of bottles of tide being used as currency

Ok I don't get it? What's so special about Tide? First of all I don't use it because my wife is a nurse and she has sensitive skin and for some reason she breaks out if her clothes are washed in Tide. Second it's too expensive! I really don't believe it cleans clothes any better than others, but maybe I'm wrong? So are they using this stuff for other than what it's made for?

no JR a large thing of tide costs like $20 +/-
so the guys sell it for $10-15 standing outside i see alot of what anyone would call "up standing citizens" out there haggling for a better price and they have to know its stolen. BUT..........................

Personally I want to know how they are stealing the big bottles....not like they can slip them in their pocket and sneak out

leftway, a lady I worked with used to work at an Alco. They had a woman they knew stole stuff, but the never could catch her. One day she came in and they tag-teamed watched her. Didn't see her take anything, 'til on her way out she grabbed a pack of gum or something like. The security guy followed her out and stopped her. "Ma'am, we saw you take that item." She said shoplift woman sort of squatted, lifted her skirt a bit, and walked away. She had had a full-size tv between her legs that nobody had even seen her take.
Must've had thighs of steel!
If someone can steal a full-size tv without being caught, I bet big bottles of Tide are nothing.

Nope, this was back in the 80s, or maybe even the 70s. So definitely the old picture tube.
Like I said, obviously thighs of steel.
