Without bringing up any names or specific threads (the questionable content of that thread is deleted anyway so you won't find it), I think that it should be stated that you cannot tell the truth about your experiences with any group of people that has led you to a conclusion about that group that might offend somebody. Because this is rather obscure in its applicability, I'll list some examples of things that should be akin to what I got warned about. This is just so you'll have an idea of what you may be warned about.
Example one: you were married to a local city council member. You found out by observing him/her and other members, both on-duty and off, that they had a propensity toward payoffs or other dishonorable behavior. As your spouse's career grew, you began witnessing the behavior not just in the local council, but you found the same type and rate of "offenses" region and nation-wide. About 7 out of 10 that you had witnessed had some history of using their position for personal gain. All that's fine. What you cannot say at this forum, then, is that "In my experience, city council members are likely to be corrupt." That's not allowed. After all, it may chase off a member that belongs to a city council (who is or is not corrupt; we can't know here).
Example two: you are a teacher. You've worked in 4 different states of the U.S. due to your military spouse who gets sent here and there at regular intervals. In three of the four states you taught in, you witnessed the bulk of the teachers participating in "cheat parties," where they would change the answers for students in order to meet the requirements put forth by the DoE as standardized in SOLs. You cannot, then, come to this forum and say, "Most teachers I've known have cheated to pass SOLs. I hate teachers who cheat the system. They are cheating our innocent kids when they do it." That cannot be allowed, because you are not allowed to "hate" anything on this forum that might offend somebody.
Well, I believe I have that accurate. I invite moderators or administrators to make this even more clear, because this forum will be the first forum I ever got a warning from for speaking the truth because it might offend somebody. Being muzzled isn't something I deal well with and my choices regarding this forum in the future will reflect that, but it's only fair that you know ahead of time that you must not share your dislike for anything if that dislike might offend others. If the administrators are not biased, that will include all things and not just some. Not just teachers and council members, for example, but priests, police officers, or contest judges. You must not dislike any in public in this forum, because it might "chase" a member off.
Thanks for reading, and happy to provide the warning.

A more accurate scenario is one where a forum member goes into a thread and makes a comment about how bad policemen are and then a member who is a policeman says he did not appreciate the generalization, you the first person keeps making more of those comments at that member and the second member just decides if the environment is going to be that hostile here, he deletes his membership.
Then the first member is told to not do that kind of stuff anymore. He then makes this thread in response to his being told to be a mature person.
You saying that you were treated poorly by one policeman was not the issue, you not treating a forum member with proper respect was the issue.
Are you sure this is the best way to vent your frustration?
