Both set at .05mm (.002) and hear slight tap..barely audible but tells me im not getting the sweet spot for best performance once fully warmed up. I would think that heat should close that to almost silent valves.
Now when i adjusted them to begin with they were tight....05 mm gauge would not even go in! But i heard no valve sound at all.
I think if i made further adjustments that others have suggested on other threads like .003 on intake and .004 on exhause if would be even louder and less efficient??

It could be as temps increase that the tolerance for valves changes. For that reason you don't put 0.00" as valve clearance; which may be the perfect setting when the engine is cold, but bad when it's hot.
Ticking valves are not too bad, as long as the stresses aren't too big. The valve head, and adjustment screw will wear out a bit, and the clearance will increase.

I think you misread my post. Never put it at 0..Why isn't the .002 tighten up when engine hot ?

Every gy6 can be a little different. One can tick tick tick at .002 and the next one runs quiet at .004. Find what yours like I guess. Although as long as it doesn't sound like shaking a can of rocks a little tick tick isn't going to hurt anything.
