Anyway, if it keeps you happy, but in the mean time you may have the appearance of a bum, which found a scooter, and is doing a part time job to get money for crack (or something), lol! Anyway, cans are easier to spot, than dimes. lolol

In my state, beer and soda cans can be redeemed for 5 cents a piece. Every time I went to my friend's house on my scooter, I took any cans I could find. I collected 29 cans while I was using that 3.281 gallons of gas. Cans times the 5 cents each is worth for total amount earned: 29 x $0.05 = $1.45 Earned don't pass up any other metal you find. friend of mine recycles metal to help pay the bills and will pay me a finders fee. at least get the small stuff if you don't know anyone with a truck that would be interested in making some extra cash. refrigerators washers/dryers dishwashers computers tvs/monitors etc. some things are worth more than others but if it contains metal then it is worth something. this site has everything you need to know about scrapping if interested: www.scrapmetalforum.com/forum.php

I always use my GPS for figuring speed and distance.
With any vehicle just fill up, go til empty and fill up again and take the miles on GPS / Gallons to fill up.
I don't even keep track of odometer miles
