HELP! Scooter won't start using starter. Starts great with

Hey guys. Does anyone have any idea why my scooter doesn't wanna start when I use the starter?
So far I have installed a new 300cca battery and starter. The engine is a 50cc with an 82cc BBK. I can Kickstart it and it starts on the first try. If I try to start it with the starter, it turns over great, but will not start.
I think that the ignition might not be getting the juice it needs when the starter is engaged. I am gonna try some tests on it today.
If that is the issue, what is the solution? Do I change the Stator maybe? Is there a possible wiring issue? Any advice is appreciated.
