Hi, I’m 77yo retired mechanic, 65+ years riding, club road racer in the 70s, owned 60+ 2 wheelers including 3 scooters. Had given up project bikes for mowers and snowblowers until finding 2007 Reflex clone on Saturday. Excited about project that had been police auction/abandoned/theft recovery? Paint peeling like an 80s car but all electrics work. Engine runs BUT the axle nut was gone hence worn splines. That 3.50 x 12-24 spline rim seems unobtainable so I’ll be trying Loctite 660 quick metal as a repair recommended on a heavy equipment forum. Anyone got a smashed/ burned scooter with that rim? Not very likely but happy to have found this forum. GJ
