8 pole A/C Stator and R/R to 11 pole D/C stator and R/R help  By  510cabo150 (Read 61 times)

Hey guys I have some questions about converting to an 11 pole stator. So basically I tinted my headlights and taillights etc. when I was planning on making my scooter for shows only but it’s way to much fun so I still drive it all the time lol. So I can’t see anything at night, all my blinkers and brake/tail light is visible during night and in the day. The only problem is the halogen headlight through the tinted lenses in the night time isn’t really all that safe. So I want to switch to a led headlight but that would require a dc system. And I’m going to put this cellphone mount that has a usb charger port on it that I’m going to put on a toggle switch then to the battery. So I want to convert my scooter to an 11 pole D/C stator and R/R to handle the extra electrical stuff that’s going to be there. My scooter has a 151cc gy6-B motor with an 8 pole a/c system. What is everything I will need to make a full conversion and anything else I will need for the led headlight bulb to work. Will I need a whole new electrical harness? Or just the harness that connects to the stators plug? Will I need to convert my cdi to a d/c cdi? Or will I need any other electrical components at all converted to a d/c one? What will be the most efficient and reliable way to do what I want to do easily and as cheap as possible!
