I was troubleshooting a problem with my throttle cable when I noticed this isn't connected. It comes from the main harness. I assume it needs to be grounded. I think it may be from CDI. Dunno if it grounds to negative battery terminal or stacks with the valve cover ground? I am used to the chinese experience but am horrible with wiring and understanding diagrams. Someone please alleviate the anxiety of unplugged wiring Thanks guys. Edit: Struggling to post a picture. Followed instructions and still not showing. Here is a link instead. imgur.com/sGghTnV

it is a ground but where it's grounded does not really matter. just use the easiest point you can find, which probably would be with the one on the valve cover. The one already on the valve cover simply grounds the engine to the frame because of the rubber mounts isolate it and definitely needs to stay.

The ground from the valve cover runs to the negative on my battery. I attached the green one to my battery as well due to the length seeming to match. Hmm
