I have a SUNL 150, was sitting for quite a while. I want to get it running again, wouldn't start up, I opened the gas cap and could smell the gas has went bad.
Today I drained the tank, put in some fresh gas, put in a new plug as well. I also pulled the carb and opened it up, cleaning out the carb, all the MAIN jet holes etc.
Charged up the battery while doing this and then put back together and gave it a try.
If I spray some GUM OUT into the intake while trying it.. it will start for a few seconds. After that, no starting.
I'm thinking it was not just the carb but maybe the tank or Petcock? I noticed when draining the tank it drained very slow and at times i'd have to rock the scooter to get more gas to flow out.
could it be the petcock is gummed up or inside the tank?
I did find it odd that the hose from the tank goes to the petcock and THEN an inline filter then to the carb. I'd think the filter would go in front of the petcock.

well, after cleaning the carb again and still not having luck, I ordered one online (new carb) and installed it today and IMMEDIATELY the bike started!
Only issue now is Front brake does really nothing and idle is too high but I need to check the cable etc.
thanks all!
I was so excited to be able to ride it again!
