I am off doing macho things.
I am getting ready to move out of state and there are many macho things to do.
What is the most macho thing that you have done in the past week.

You had better be moving to a macho state, Kevin.

I drove my scooter in 40° chilly after a near-year of not driving, to get him spring-tuned. Is that macho?
Otherwise, I cooked without Mom's supervision for the first time. You know, her kitchen her worries I would burn down her house. Is that macho?
Where ya' moving to, kev?

I'm doing a non macho thing this week, I'll be looking to down size to a smaller scooter. Yesterday I checked out the new PCX 150 and today I'm going to look at the new Kymco Like 150, both of them legit 70 mph scoots, so maybe that's a little macho.

I went over the handle bars on my bicycle. Not so macho.

I went over the handle bars on my bicycle. Not so macho. Last year I went over the handlebars of my motorcycle at 40mph, and the car that ran the light in front of me. I walked away, and spent part of the rest of the day starting repairs, and finding replacement parts. Yep, I felt pretty macho after that. Oh, I am moving to Maine.

Maine is a state containing many macho men of the sea. Beautiful place too. Nicely done. Lets hope the cagers drive better in Maine.

Maine has lobsters which are very tasty and have very pinchy...uh, pinchers. Both of which are pretty macho. How does the weather compare to OH though?
And yes, kev, that was dang macho! The closest I've come to that much macho is cracking my piddy-toe bone one morning and going to work anyways.

Even my little Kymco Grandvista is getting a tad heavy at 365 pounds, for me when walking her backwards uphill in my drive... I REALLY "like" the Kymco LIKE. I believe it's actually a little over 150cc (160 or something) and the retro styling is right up my alley. Please do try to test-ride any 150 before buying though. I rode the Like a few years back, it's a swell scoot, but I believe calling it a legit 70-mph scoot may be a little optimistic... Well, maybe a LOT optimistic. I got it to 71 on the speedo, on a level road, with NO wind and that is probably an actual 65 at best. The Like IS one of the fastest 150cc class scoots, but a real world cruising speed up and down hills, encountering some wind, etc. it's probably a 55-mph bike. My old 250 will actually hit eighty-five on the speedo (actual 80) on level, no wind, etc. but real world up/down hill and light wind makes it a 65-mph cruiser. The Like would definitely be my choice in a new 150, but unless you are VERY lightweight yourself (say 125 pounds or so) don't count on anywhere near a 70-mph cruise. I do weigh 225, so any scoot is somewhat challenged... LOL! Best wishes on whatever scoot you decide on! They're ALL a lot of fun. Just be sure your choice will keep up with the traffic you need to run with. Ride safe!Leo in Texas PS: One scoot I've never tried but am intrigued with is the Genuine Buddy 170. They're TINY, light, nimble on teensy wheels, and look more Italian than some Italian scoots... Customer loyalty is high, and if serious downsizing is in order, a Buddy might just be a real hoot and with a 170cc mill, probably pretty quick. Not cheap, but slick scoots!

Most macho thing I've done this week is eat a quart of my homemade chili... And I forgot just HOW macho my brew was... Cheesh! Ride safe! Leo
