I came across these pix on the Net, and immediately remembered the term "chicken strips"...I've seen some wild cornering, especially in pro racing, but THESE are EXTREME! Even in my misspent youth on "Old Blue" which was narrower and leaner than a crotch-rocket would I have EVER considered hauling her over so far as to scrape a shoulder on the pavement... EWW! My chrome rims... my chrome engine... my polished primary case... my knees and shoulders! This level of skill combined with a fearless determination to push the envelope deserves recognition, even if I wouldn't recommend it on your local freeway cloverleaf... LOL!

They could easily pass under a semi trailer in that posture. Those sport bike guys in Houston ride like there is no tomorrow.

you cant even get that far over on a scooter without removing the center stand
I have had extra tall tires and cut off the center stand bracket and I don't break for corners unless traffic is in the way
I still can't scrub off the top row of rubber hairs without grinding steel

Take it from a guy who took a freeway cloverleaf a tad too frisky on his new 1970 Electra-Glide and put her up on the floorboard, both tires off the pavement... That's what I learned in transitioning from a lean chopper to a bloated "garbage-wagon" bagger! OUCH! Live and learn!
