We have mentioned on many occasions how there are some very amusing "translations" in some of the Chinese scooter owner's manuals. It is not limited to this, however...

We had Chinese food last night, and the fortune I got in my cookie read:

"After readying the every emotion, there is understanding entering the realm."

I have NEVER seen a fortune cookie written so poorly in my life!

They don"t really have articles in the Mandarin language (a, an, the, etc). Makes it more difficult to translate into English than a European language.
I have seen some really funny translations on the websites that sell Chinese cooters too.

Some really entertaining stuff translated from Chinese to English...

The "manual" for my old Xingyue 150 had an interesting note on brake wear... "Notice to periodic inspection of the hoof. Thin wearing of hoof makes confidence to poor stopping and failure with death".

I finally gave up searching for horseshoes for that hoof!
