I think I saw oldchopperguy's Spade today. Woo-HOO! You got my attention with THIS one! Can't mistake those retro-tread Shinko wide-whites! Should be a 120-70/12 and 130-70/12. Now, there's just gotta be a way to cut all the junk off the rear-end, fab-up a bob-tailed rear fender and slap on a hairpin-spring solo-seat and pillion-pad for a passenger... What else? Hmmm... Let's see... Turn those stock bars upside-down "mustache" style (or replace with broom-sticks on dog-bones) add a fat-diameter chromed straight-pipe with fishtail (yeah, TEXAS does NOT require a muffler...). The tank needs black "zebra-stripes" or checkers... OH, and paint them wheels RED! At least the rim-edges.These little Spades ARE a tad small for my fat butt, but... (pun intended) I'd ride one like THAT any day! And, there is a video from a die-hard Spade guy showing him on a 40-mile trip on his... modded ONLY with slight carb mods and one-tooth upped drive sprocket where he never got below 70-mph the whole way, hills, wind and all! That's about as good as my 250 will do! Heck, I'd just use a 140/70-12 rear tire like on my Grandvista and forget upping the drive-sprocket. THAT should get it to 70+. In SPADES... LOL! Good grief, I do LOVE those shinko P-rated wide-whites with classic street tread. They've done fine on my old Grandvista and the Spade is a lot lighter-weight. With my Harley days decades behind me, I'm a hard-core Kymco fan... Thanks for the post! Have a big, fat bone on The Old Chopper Guy!

I saw a thread on another forum that the ubiquitous 229cc dual sport engine from the Hawk and others will bolt in to the Spade frame with no cutting or welding to replace the 150cc vertical engine. That would be really fun except for coming up with a larger exhaust.

I think you mean Taotao. Bashan is already selling DP bikes online. IMHO this is the opening gun in the quest of the Chinese to start making a dent in the bike market here. It should be interesting.

We have one in Black. Rides really nice. Feels like riding a regular bike without the hassle of shifting gears or working the clutch. Runs about 53 mph with a 200 lb rider on it.

We have the Beast 150. The Tao Enduro won't be in the warehouse until December.

Bintelli shows they have black, green and burgundy in stock now so your local Bintelli dealer would be happy to order one for you. If your in the DFW Tx area come on by and take a look at ours.
