Jethro, only because the actor that played him was the son of the heavyweight champion Max Baer ...and you know all those medals .

Jethro could eat an entire hog by himself. And I believe numerous non-food items, even.
Although Ellie-may could out-wrestle him, so there is that....

Ellie May used to beat up Jethro. Gilligan was a macho man o' the sea.

Actually, Ellie May beat up ALL the guys. So I don't think that detracts from Jethro's machoiness.

Gilligan did occasionally, if usually inadvertently, save the day...

I should give Jethro credit for trying to join the Marines. The problem was that he went to Marine Land in Palo Verde to join, instead of MCRD San Diego.

At my age, I was a regular viewer of both "The Bererly Hillbillies" and "Gilligan's Island"... Enjoyed and laughed at both.
Gilligan and Jethro were both great in their roles... But I have to vote for "Jethro"... Big, dumb redneck boy with a heart of gold. True macho... LOL!
And, looks so "bigger than life" in that pic with Soupy Sales! I was a big fan of Soupy too. Nobody got away with off-color humor on a kid's show like Soupy...
