Always posting about super-deals I find on Craigslist, eBay, and Cycletrader. Couldn't resist the latest. Today I picked up a 09 Kymco People S 200 with 121 miles on it. It was originally titled here in PA in 2015 with mileage listed as 35. Been garaged for the last two years. Runs like a dream and looks brand new. Oh...$1100. Dying to know where it was for the first 6 years of it's life.

Good looking scoot, cookees! I'd offer to race ya, 200 to 200, big-wheel to big-wheel, but I know who'd win and it isn't the timid mouse.
Have fun!

Congratulations! I KNOW you're gonna love THAT ride!Way back, while my dealer changed out the tires on my old Kymco Grandvista, he loaned me a used People 200... I liked it SO much considered buying it! Simple, air-cooled, carbureted and feather-light handling... To me, it was what every 150 rider WISHED they could make their Chinese GY6 into! If I recall, the displacement is actually 160cc, but... the one I rode was LIGHT-YEARS ahead of ANY 150 I ever rode. I just assumed it was a full 200cc by its lively performance! Unless you need to exceed 70-mph, I can't think of a better choice! And, you're getting that BULLET-PROOF Kymco quality... Enjoy!!!

No one reads the "Interesting offerings on my local Craigslist..." thread anymore... So, I put this here as well - one for Leo, one for Kat... Here's one I had to put in for the "Old Chopper Guy"... A 2009 Kymco Grand Vista 250! treasure.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2009-kymco-grandvista-250-cc/6664878644.html Now, one for Kat... OK - I just HAD to post this... treasure.craigslist.org/mcy/d/custom-scooter-with-sidecar/6652159244.html A 2009 CF Moto 250cc with sidecar! A tad "colorful"... Ad no longer active... Kat might like this...

Are those really pizza stickers under the side mirrors? Just curious, did you happen to notice how much they wanted for that...uh...tad colorful scoot with those couple of stickers discretely placed on the...well, the wheel cover....? >'Kat

Floridagull,
Definitely unique scoots! That sidecar rig is really "different"!
The Grandvista in RED is pretty rare... I think about 80% of them were white like mine. Blue ones are also rare but the red is probably the best looking of all. I've had mine now for seven seasons and she's still totally trouble-free! Reliable as the family Accord!
The only complaint I've ever heard about them is the riding position. The lumbar support on the seat puts your chin at the windshield... LOL! Well not quite, but definitely "strange" to an American rider... "Minnie Mouse's" original owner modded the seat moving the support back about three inches and it made a real difference. I did get used to it, but I'd have to do the same mod on another one, or, remove the support so I could sit farther back. That seems to be the most common cure for American riders.
I wonder what the old "mouse" would look like with a sidecar? Hmmm.... If I get any more arthritic I may have to consider something like that, but I don't think a 250 has the beans to haul a sidecar.
Thanks for the posts, and RIDE SAFE!
Leo
