What is more macho? Cinder block. Adobe brick.

Cinder blocks, I used to go thru a pair of gloves a day tending for two masons. I didn't do that very long.

I've never experienced adobe bricks, but I believe they're just mostly in the SW. Whereas cinder blocks are up here in the nasty winters. Baking sun (which is how adobe bricks are made anyways, aren't they?) vs freezing/thawing cycles PLUS baking sun. Winner cinders!

Houses in tropical areas are often made of cinder block. The roof will come off during hurricanes, but the cinder block walls remain standing. I'm still voting for Adobe brick. There are are a lot of Adobe brick houses in the Clint Eastwood movies.

Hmmm...
Hard choice! Let's see: Any kind of brick is good for building stuff, and for tossing through windows... Cinder blocks are also good for building stuff, and forpropping up that old pickup truck in the front yard that uncle Bubba and his pit-bull lives in.
But then, EITHER ONE will totally kill some poor soul in a car when they're dropped through a windshield from a freeway overpass by a brain-dead schoolkid...
Both pretty macho: I call it a dead tie!

I have seen Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris smash plenty of cinder blocks, but I have never seen them smash adobe bricks with their bare hands.

I don't think you will find a martial artist that is willing to try to break an adobe brick with his bare hand, Kat (except maybe that bad guy in "Enter the Dragon" that had a steel prosthetic hand).
