last year I bought the hoca 180cc engine kit with cases and oil cooler. I never did get around to putting it together. I also bought a 2.5mm stroker crank which if I remember right it comes out to around 188cc’s. I am wondering if the 18/36 gearing is a good choice for this combo. Will it have enough power to use this gearing set up? We ride mostly back roads. About the only time we ride in town is when we are leaving to get out of town. Most of the time we are on 45mph and up back roads. Anyway I figure since I have this stuff I might as well put it together. I still need a good clutch and gearing, bigger carb and I think I need a spacer for the stroker crank. Has anyone used the dr pulley clutch? I have the dr pulley variator and it seems to work pretty good.
