OK - I have been considering either ordering a 2018 Kymco X-Town 300i or buying a 2017 People GT 300i leftover that I have located in Sarasota. However, since I am always seeking a deal, I looked at the inventory of some dealers around me, and I found this - budzchromenutz.com/inventory/29476/view/3091/Port%20Saint%20Lucie-FL/2012-Kymco-Yagr%20GT%20200%20I - a 2012 Kymco Yager GT 200i (really only 175cc) with fuel injection and liquid cooling. It is used, with 9728 miles. My desire for something larger than my 2016 Kymco Super 8 150 stems from our desire for just a little more top speed - I can get up to about 55 with me alone, 50-ish with my wife and I. From what I have read in reviews, the Yager should be able to cruise easily at 65, and have a top end of around 75. I have no desire to go out on Interstates, but would like to go on 55-60-65 mph roads without dying or causing a traffic jam. For example, I would like to go up the Hutchinson Island road here on the Treasure Coast - A1A - but the Super 8 is struggling to keep up with the traffic. I need 60-65 - but no more, really... Should I consider this 2012 Yager? Much cheaper than new 2018, or leftover 2017... Is the mileage a concern? Anyone familiar with this particular scooter?

Floridagull, I checked over all the pix of the Yager on the listing and am AMAZED at how much it reminds me of my Grandvista, only very modern styling, and with a totally different motor. The front end, wheels, brakes, seat, bars, overall proportions look VERY familiar! Looking it up on the Internet, it seems to have nearly identical performance spec's. to my Grandvista which makes sense. Top speed is listed at 70-mph, which should be doable with the 175cc injected motor. My guess would be a realistic cruise of 65 up/down-hill and some wind, riding solo, and 60 with passenger. The motor probably has more rpm than my 250 but a tad less torque. So... about the same general performance.I must say the Yager "looks like my scoot 'should have' after some modern styling ques"... LOL! You could certainly get away with a huge trunk, and saddlebags if you want plenty of cargo capacity. However, my light-up goose would NOT look quite right on her nose... LOL! If you don't require more than 65-mph solo cruising, it might be just the ride for you! The liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 175cc motor should be equal to my old 2-valve, carbureted 250. Definitely one to keep on your short list!

'gull, you're like watching a scooter-soap. Or something. Very entertaining to see how your quest evolves. I'm chomping popcorn waiting for the conclusion!

I think if you're looking for sustained high speed runs I'd go with the 300's for a little bump in power over the super 8 go with the Yager,,,the 2 thou in your pocket will feel much better
