Close call... The classic TV Batman characters were pretty much "kid-friendly" so maybe not quite so much "creepy macho" as the later movie characters... Even Batman himself was a tad less "macho" than the butt-kicking movie characters... You all know the old story: "Never trust a guy who wears his boxers OUTSIDE his pants... LOL! I guess I lean toward the Joker because he reminds me of a "kinder, gentler Killer Clown"... LOL! THAT is about as macho as the old TV characters got... Not exactly Charlie Manson... But macho enough to impress us as little nippers.
