Apologies to Benny Hill, but since I thoroughly dislike the taste and texture of coconut, I suppose I'd best vote bowling ball.

I'm gonna go for the bowling ball and I'm partial to candlepin bowling, way more macho.

I never understood understood why Fred Flintstone kept his bowling ball on a high shelf in his closet. Every time he opened that closet, the bowling ball rolled off the shelf and smashed hit foot.

Woo-HOO! Since over the last 70 years, at one time or another, I've dropped both coconuts and bowling balls on my foot, I'll go with the bowling ball.

I will be the odd ball (no pun intended) and vote for coconuts, to witt: -Coconuts are alive. Not inanimate plastic. -They were used to make the sound of horses trotting in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" -Gilligan and the Professor dropped them on the bad guys from above to protect the island -Coconut fibers are found all over Oak Island, Novia Scotia. Pirates apparently liked coconuts enough to take a whole lot of them from the Carribean to Canada. -Now, go put de lime in de coconut and call me in the morning -

'bender, you forgot to mention that Holy Grail also discussed a laden European swallow carrying a coconut.
Still voting bowling ball though.
