My dad bought it from his elderly neighbor who had bought it new in Florida and brought it back, 200 miles on it when I got it,and e gas had ruined the original carb. The mileage is right as it had all documentation. It's always been taken care of, oil changed etc, and it literally fell apart by 2000 miles

Well it looks like you got the dud of a lifetime,,,sell it on CL for parts and buy Taiwanese ,,,or get a genuine Stella ,,,I’m thrilled with mine and not a hint of trouble,,,3 years one clutch cable ,a battery ,that’s it,,,other than riding,,,oh I forgot a headline bulb,,,low beam filament went out so I put an h2 car bulb in it,,,much better brightness

I just depinned a random Japanese plug from in my garage, to put new pins in the CDI plug, since my pig tails won't freaking be here until January 28th. that seems to solve the issue of the crappy factory pins
