GREAT PIX! Have a bone on the old chopper guy!THAT ride looks like it was a LOT of fun! Wish I could have been along... Ah... pretty long ride from Texas though, and my scoot can't swim... LOL!Too bad they don't include 250's and similar. They aren't really all that much more ride than 50's and 150's. With her short wheelbase and little 12" wheels, most folks think my Kymco 250 is a Chinese 150... The saddlebags hide the model badging. Those pix remind me of back when I visited London WAY back in the late 1960's... I rented a Chevy (American left-hand drive) and about killed myself trying to drive on the left side of the road... LOL! It is SO hard to suddenly drive on the "wrong" side... It just feels SO suicidal WRONG... Of course, everyone I meet here who comes from England, New Zealand, Australia, etc. tells me the same thing... Ride safe, no matter WHICH side of the road you're on...Leo in Texas

Good read! The current scooter I have (which is a 150cc Icebear Maddog) I just daily it here in WA state. Not because it is the "green thing" but because it is my main mode of transportation at the moment. My mini truck is in the shop, and my main 170cc Maddog is in a shop getting a custom header welded up for it. But other than that, I love modding my scooters out, such as lowering them and adding mini fatty tires to the rear.
But the community here (although lacking in scooter presence) is still good and I wave to motorcyclists and they wave back. Although I am sure mine is first mistaken for a smaller motorcycle from the front light. I also have infected two others through my addiction and they both ride too (although both have ridden many years ago I think for fun). Even rode to the local annual biker event called at Anacortes, WA called the Oyster Run. Was my first time there and was very fun.

Tusky,
Great vid! Thanks for posting... Have a bone on The Old Chopper Guy!
Good filming, makes us feel like we're riding passenger! I rode big bikes for 55 years, but arthritis and lack of budget has moved me into scooters, and I really like them. Quite possibly the most 2 (or 3) wheel fun you can have for the money. And, they're great transportation too. They make a trip to Wally World for groceries a better adventure than in the family car!
Ride safe,
Leo in Texas

I usually average a video (with my GoPro) or two a month depending if anything is happening. I love scooters and it is a really good hobby as I like to customize and do my own thing with scooters. Like before, I said my truck has been in the shop for a long time so riding scooters has been daily no matter the weather. That scooter in the video has been my main grocery getter and can carry a fair amount of food between the legs. Plus it is a very good money saver while being something that is very locally unique in town! I think my largest I'll ever find myself riding would be 250ccs as I do have a pair of Chinese Honda Reflex clones that require a rebuild before I ride them. Oh my gosh!.... Spaceman Spiff! Thank you! One of my first avatars when I started going on forums
