What size is the tank? Having only bought a scoot because its "cheap" and "now", after a month of riding, I've thoroughly caught the bug, and I'm all ready looking at the next buy (when this one dies, or finish the finance, which ever happens first! Lol).
Does the Burgman come in a 250-300 size? How do the MPGs compare between the smaller ones and yours?
Thanks, Ian.

Outside of the U.S. the Burgman came/comes in 125, 250 versions too. In fact the clones are actually clones of the 250 version and not the 400. The tank size is 3.4 gallons

Mine was not as expensive as you might think $2700 is not a giant stack of cash. It took about 6 months of "investing" to get mine

That's good to know, thanks mate. A 3 and a half (ish) gallon tank would be perfect. My china 125 does 90mpg, I have a 90mile round trip commute, guess how big my tank is! Lol
Do you plan to update this thread, as you find more things to add to your review? I'd be very interested to watch your progress with the scoot.

Yep I have a little preventative maintenance coming up and I am a scooter forum addict so you can be sure to expect more soon...
Now I'm off to put a couple hundred miles on this afternoon...

the main and common problem of Burgman is squeeking transmission/ suzuki haven't figured it out if it comes from primary,or secondary sheaves,or the clutch itself ,or the belt., i started a thread at the BUSA(burgman USA) about getting rid of the squeeking.,twas a success!

Cool mine squeaks occasionally normally when cold and normally only when I first start off. After that its fine. Some days it doesn't squeak at all...

You should really work on keeping it in that socket to begin with...
We'll pray for gentleness and little pain.

had my car belt squeek too in the mornings. According to the mechanic,it is water damp (condensation) on the belt causing this.
