My vote goes to Radar O'Reily. Wasn't Klinger a cross dresser; ostensibly to get out of the military with a claim of mental illness... In principal a deserter or at the least, a coward in my view. Radar was a bit gung ho deep in his heart I think though he was awkward and shy outwardly. From what I read, in one episode he was given a purple heart for an injury.

This is a hard one.
Klinger cross-dressed trying to get sent home, 'cause what sane person really wanted to be over there. That takes macho.
Radar was an innocent soul who never let the war crush his gentleness. That takes a different macho.
I think that really, they're both about equally macho. So I'll vote Radar 'cause he loved and took care of little animals. And a big one, too

I think it's pretty even but I'll go with Radar because I like grape nehi too, also I think Klinger liked the Toledo Mud Hens , that can't be good.  |

Anybody notice that radar spelled backwards is still radar?

Doggone if it hasn't been perfect riding weather lately and I've been too busy to do more than a trip to Wally World for meds for the Missus... Cheesh! Old "Minnie Mouse" thinks I've left her for the Accord... Next time out, I'll have to treat her to a tank of premium... Heck, I always give her premium. Might have to pour a shot or two of Jack Daniel's in her tank... LOL! I'm not exactly "Humongous" from "Mad Max" but maybe a slug of Jack Black might make her the "Mad Mouse"... Naah... probably not. Would just rot her 10-year-old fuel-lines. Guess I'll have a shot for her! |

Radar was in the book. Klinger was made for the tv show.
My vote is for Klinger because he had enough guts to say that he hated being in the army.
