See if the vent tube is kinked,, that may be a problem

See if the vent tube is kinked,, that may be a problem it doesnt have a hose.. Its just an open hole with gridded cover

May have been a smaller OD than the original ,, couple threads started about that just this last year

See if the vent tube is kinked,, that may be a problem it doesnt have a hose.. Its just an open hole with gridded cover Your valve cover nipple has a "griddled" cover? Sounds more like a CVT case vent cover you are describing.
