Hi folks! After looking around this seems like a good sub to start in Soooooooo.... I was given a 2 Stroke Italian moped fresh out of the barn and need help ID'ing it. I'm pretty sure the engine is a Motori Minarelli V1 50cc 2 Stroke but it's the moped that's giving me fits. I think it's some version of a Fantic motor's Concord. Year make and model number are needed. I do get compression when I pull on the clutch lever on the engine and pedal. The drum brakes still work (Would like to change out rims but that's another post) My first issue after identifying it will be to get the engine running but as you'll see in the photos ( See Photobucket folder link below ) wiring has been cut up. The 3 wires leaving the Stator/Magneto have been cut. Stator Magneto wiring IMGThe wires that go into the frame near that area are a different color. On the Ignition Coil, there are some wires not connected: Ignition Coil & Wires IMGAnd Cut wiring on the front: Cut wiring: Front IMGSo, to sum it up: Phase 1: ID Moped. Fix wiring so that, electrically, the motor will run ( lights and such later ) Help finding a carb that will work with the engine on the cheap ( See reason Here ) This will help me decide if I should move on to the next phase or scrap it Any info/links would be greatly appreciated. Phase 2: I will be looking for parts. Rims,Throttle,Exhaust,Cables and any other stuff I'll be needing and anything dealing with the engine like Covers,Fans. So if I could be pointed in the right direction (Sub) it might save an Admin the trouble of moving it Please feel free to view my folder of photos about this moped @ PhotoBucket: 2 Stroke Moped Thanks in advance!

I'm sure that somebody on mopedarmy.com could ID your moped. Those guys over there are kind of weird, though.

Yea... I went over there also. Got several answers but they are having the same issue. ID'ing the thing. If I could just find some help with the wiring and maybe a source for parts like cables, rims muffler. Here's the wiring issue: I have three wire leaving the engine/magneto: 1: White wire with a red cloth cover 1: Blue wire 1: white wire with a black cloth cover And coming from the frame-side I have: 1: Red wire that seems like it was connected to to the black wire on the engine-side 1: Yellow wire 2: White wires If I can get that issue straightened out I can see if this is worth getting parts for. And does anyone know if a SHA 15mm Clone would be the right replacement carb for the engine (I see a few different sizes ) Thanks!

Just looked up a arciero sea gull and from a quick glance the headlight assembly and the shocks are different.
And I have looked all over the frame for a serial # or any kind of marking and nada. It has is original factory paint (Red primer/Metal flake coal? ) and I see no places where it might look like someone filed down any info.
Thanks for the heads up on Myrons mopeds. I left a msg. ( Not open yet/3hr time diff) And will ask if I can send him the link to this thread so He can see whats going on / Photos.
When I have more info I'll post.
As a side note... thinking about making a video and toss it up on youtube about this strange trip.
