I have a Yamati Retro Classic 150 that had 10" wheels. In trying to upgrade to 13" wheels and disc brakes I had to swap to a long case engine for the rear wheel to fit. However, the front wheel doesn't seem to fit. What size triple tree/shocks/axle etc would I need to get this to work? Any help is appreciated

A quick answer would be ones from a 13" scooter . Is the wheel hitting the top of the triple tree ?

No, there isn't enough room left to right for the wheel to fit and the speedometer that works with the shock doesn't work with the wheel

I'm curious if its the speedo puck that may be different or if it is the tree. Also if you can measure the space between the top of the shocks where they connect to the tree that will help us give u some answers.

From what I've read while googling gy6 speedometer gears/puck is that the 12" and 13" tires have almost the same OD, so they use the same puck. There must be a different puck for 10", because my 50cc is very accurate. I haven't checked my new 16" against GPS, no where to mount my phone, but judging from the traffic around me, it seems pretty accurate.
My nephew is out right now riding his 13", when he gets back I'll compare the 10" and 13" pucks.

Also if I'm not mistaken there is a spacer on the other side of the hub and if the 10 inch rims are not as wide as the 13 inch rims the spacer may be different . so u may be using a spacer that makes the 13,inch to wide between the shocks.

I'll try and get you some pics tonight. I know the spacers will be off as well. I'm guessing I'll need the entire 10" wide or 12" wide triple tree and front shock assembly from a scooter with 13" wheels. I just don't know if the body opening is wide enough to accommodate it
