I have a TaoTao Lancer 150cc, been haveing issues with the scooter in general, missing bolts shatered spark plug ect, narowed some issues down to the carburetor. rather than fixing it id rather replace it. but very unshure of what kind of carburetor to replace it with , curently it just has the stock carburetor gy6-150cc.

A new carb isn't going to fix the missing bolts and shattered spark plug. What issues are you having that you feel you need to replace the carb?

Also, look for a vacuum leak.
