I mounted them under the front fairing. My low beams will be normal and when I turn the high beams on the LEDs with light up and the reg high beams will be disabled . Here is a pic . .

I have to admit this project got me to thinking about some cheap driving lights I bought many years ago (something like $3 each... I bought a half dozen or so). Typical 55w jobbies.
I got to pondering if they would stand up to the vibratory abuse of being mounted on the front fender such that the light would point in the direction of steering input. I did a 'test fit' and it would clear the bodywork at max steering/suspension compression. If not the front fender, then I could always mount it to the fairing up top around the handlebars...like a 'normal' motorcycle. I'm only looking to mount one, and have it on a separate switch as an auxiliary driving light for dark-road use only.

Wilds, nice for with the led lights. You have to modify them to fit so tight against your panel?

Some modifactions was needed but not that much. First I messured where I could place them so they wouldn't hit anything on the inside and made the holes. And then I got two gauge houses that fitted the lights perfectly. Test fit And attached them to the plastic cover with epoxy Side view This gives me great head light. When I tried them I was really surprised how bright the light was!

I really didn't have anywhere to actually install them into the body. So I had to mount them far enough up to that my front fender wouldn't hit them after the shocks are compressed and when turning . Yours look really good with your scoot . Mine where only like 23 bucks , I just can't wait to try them out .

anytime you add more lights you are increasing safety both for yourself and others.
