I opened up my CVT and was pleasantly surprised to find a Bando in there. The tradeoff for the dependability is some driving vibe. Will this taper off over time?

Depends on the hardness of the drive faces. Bando can really chew up soft drive faces and the vibration can then escalate when that is the case. Keep the CVT filter clean to mitigate heat and keep an eye on things. Sometimes the excess vibration will be due to them grabbing a close enough belt that is a bit on the long side when they assembled the bike. |

I had this problem just recently. After 2K miles my belt stretched and was dragging against CVT cover on speeds over 40 MPH. Belt replacement solved this problem.

I replaced the Gates Powerlink belt on my 2T and the factory CFMoto belt on my Echarm both with a Kevlar Bando belt . I noticed a weird vibration on both as both did not have this effect with the stock belts . After a few thousand miles it went away on my Echarm . I have only ridden around 600 miles on my 2T as the rear tire is worn and I need to replace it . The Kevlar belts are stiffer and I have read that have been known to wear out a soft variator compared to a nonKevlar belt .
Bando is made in Japan instead of China and they come on Hondas so Bando is a great brand .
Scooters come with the tires unbalanced so they vibrate and shimmy at top speed . I had mine balanced on my Echarm and it was amazing how much smoother the ride was .
Next time I need a belt I will retry Gates on my 2T and pay the extra for a CFMoto belt since they did not have the vibrations of the Bando

Mine in not tire vibration. A slight sound accompanies it. It vibrates at around 30, starts out slow ten the sound speeds up then slows down again.

It is like a an off and on surge or pulse effect
