Decided to check my plug the other day and to my surprise half of it was a nice caramel color and the other half was pretty white. What the heck? Am I running lean on one side an good on the other side? It's an horizontal head also. Strange!!

could be a lean running pilot, or main jet. It often happens that only one of both jets are running lean.
