Well ladies and gents my good running 63cc finally gave out on me. Cruising along back to the house and it just quit running as I pulled out in front of a semi because it's always been a quick scoot from the beginning. It stalled and my butt didn't!! I pushed that darn thing across the highway like it was a tooth pick! OK! Let me get a little more serious. Only way it starts is WOT and then you have to hold the throttle WOT so it will run,man does it shoot more gas and oil than the filling station!White smoke, blue, ect. pure fuel. Yes my carb. is fine. This scoot has been my pride and joy since 2011 new. OK Any ideas to help me save my good ole scoot??

Break out the ratchet and sockets and start tearing the top end apart--if you're absolutely sure your carb is fine.
How many miles on the 63cc?

Perhaps the manifold or other major avenue for air has opened up. If it only runs wide open it either is starving for the fuel your giving or the air. Did you make absolutely sure the float needle isn't stuck open pouring tons of fuel into there? If yes then check for massive air leaks. I like the can-o-flammable liquid method but if it won't run you will have to use the wiggle method

Carefully look at EVERYTHING, while tearing it apart. I don't mean just pull the cylinder off-- right off the bat. One thing at a time and closely look at every piece you take off.

Sounds like your rings just went. Why? Who knows. But if its shooting out gas and oil out of the exhaust its the rings.

I've been sitting in a 2 stroke long enough to forget that oil shooting out the exhaust isn't normal for all of us. The rings sound good assuming its a 4 stroke. The massive air leak would be past the rings. Do not try to start it any more disassemble and inspect

It's been running perfect for a long time,no sputtering or nothing it just quit. Like I said it will only run WOT but it may not now.Tons of fuel coming out the pipe.I Put a brand new carb. on last fall before I stored it away. Anyway I've got 2 scoots broke down now. I'm a BIG JINX. It's always started perfect and never failed me till yesterday.Man It use to run perfect. Do they still make parts for a 63cc? No I wont try an start it any more. I'm afarid it's got some good damage done to it. I"m going to take a brake for a few days an then go back to it. I"m pretty sick over my scoots right now. Thanks for the advice guys. Yes I put a new diphram in it an cleaned carb. but no change at all.Oh yea it has around 3,600 miles on it.

I'm thinking that enricher valve inside the carb. is messed up again. It took me 5 carbs. to get the right one to work last year. Those Kung Fu Carbs. are pretty much junk. Out of 100% of fuel is burned, only about 10% is being burned. It's crazy I know but true.
