Zombie is selling a variator or trading it for some 4g sliders, you may want to see if he'll send you the blades. |

How do people know these Koso's being sent from China are real?
I always assume that anything I'm buying from EBay-China is fake.
Is it worthed the money to try? Maybe.
Do I assume it's real? Never.

With China's new economic policies people are allowed to make and sell whatever they want and pass it off as whatever they want. Back when the economic policies were Socialist the state owned the major factories and production was fairly uniform because of this. I agree that lack of regulation is a severe problem in China. I got the variator today! My mother demanded I go buy her coke, but I insisted that I install the variator first so that I don't have to wait for the cvt to cool down. She relented. ;D
So I took it for a ride on rt.120 and I noticed a lot smoother acceleration. I'll test my speeds with GPS later, but I only hit about 50mph on my way home with the coke and chinese food. (It's a 45mph road, don't worry I'm not speeding /that/ much, if anything I'm keeping up with traffic ;D )
I'm thankful that it didn't come with weights, I've got a stockpile of those now, the 9g seem to work alright, but it hasn't done wonders. I'm hoping that everything will all start working the way it should and I'll gain a few mph once I get my jets in the mail. Right now I'm running a restricted UNI.

Keep in mind, that if you put a performance fan on your motor, It will increase the load. Unless you are having excessive heat problems, stick with the O.E.M. they move plenty of air.

Don't get me wrong, I was quite happy with a max speed of ~50> mph, but if I can achieve 55mph, just once, then I'll be able to prove all those big biker "friends" wrong, that it doesn't take more than a hundred ccs to go 55mph.  I definitely don't plan on going at those high speeds often if at all, but it is nice not having to go WOT to cruise around the neighborhood anymore. With 63ccs I had to go pretty close to WOT to maintain 30mph on the speedo, now it's barely half throttle ;D Apparently it's only going to get better. Sweetness. |
