Yeah,, I thought the air/fuel was just for the idle and maybe how the motor takes the fuel off idle,,the top is the main jet..I remember having an old Triumph with a clogged pilot and the motor ran like crap throughout the entire power band so you never know.. The air/fuel mixture is not for the idle. There is a seperate screw for that on the opposite side of the carb. The idle screw controls how far open the air intake stays when youre not using the throttle at all. More air = higher RPMS, so you can adjust the idle screw to change how many RPMS you idle at. The air/fuel mixture screw contains how much gasoline gets mixed with the air as it comes through the carb. I didnt mean it was for the idle SPEED,,I meant its for controlling fuel/air mix at around idle and slightly above,,sorry for being confusing...

Yeah there are some good eBay dealers , I get my gates belts from a place in Georgia and they always get here in two days . I ordered a gates Kevlar 842 from napa before and it looked like it was from the 1940's , lol . It looked wore and had an old packaging I've never seen . To be honest with you,,I think I have been running fake gates belts,,cause the package said made in china,,they seem to hold up good so far??

The blue springs are 1k with ncy that is the three rpm clutch springs . I bought the 3rd generation clutch assembly from scooter elements about 3 yrs ago and my 1500 clutch springs were orange . Now I see all most are yellow . I think the black main is 1500 rpm ? Also my old stock rpm springs fit my ncy clutch . They each had the same amount of coils . Thats cool bro,,so I will get the blue NYC clutch and wont have to worry about springs,,I saw the bell for $39 free ship also,,thanks man!! Sorry for the derail on the thread,,I think this guy is running lean,,but he said his old plug was black,,too much fuel will cause a top bog also...do you see any black smoke coming out of the pipe when you nail it from an idle on the center stand??

Wonder what size main jet you have in it? I bet its super lean from factory with a 103-105...might be happier with a 110-115.What does the plug look like,,really light colored?

I bought my gears off that guy,,they came out of the NYC package so i thought they might be fake,,he said they are the biggest distributor of NYC in the US so why would he sell a fake,,I was also looking at that clutch today,,but I dont like the blue springs,,and alley said NYC takes their own spring so I would have to get the black 1K springs also...and the NYC bell I assume..If NYC makes 1K springs I will get that clutch and the NYC bell,,I like their stuff...

Hahaha,, I got both an orange and blue from ebay,,they work good under power but make my idle rough and hard startin from the timing change,,I found a great black one on ebay last year,,it has rev limit bypass and is slightly advanced but my scoot starts great and runs smooth,,i cant find the CDI anymore,,should have bought 3 of them...guess my next one will be from John here...he has the good ones too..

This seller seems pretty good so far,,100% positive feedback,,and the parts look decent,,gonna try him for a while,,but I do need Walter to get in gear for my BBK CLUTCH.. www.ebay.com/itm/161051770045?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITBELL.. www.ebay.com/itm/151061710397?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Jersey, When you do get a Clutch get one with more pad material, here is the one I got, its the NCY clutch and I am pulling 350lbs trike plus my 180lbs. Alleyoop Thanks Alley! Will that slide right inside my stock bell or do I need to upgrade the bell? The one thats on there now doesn't look too bad,,its got the extra band of steel wrapped around the outside so it wont warp as fast...
