Was there a tanker in the driveway dumping fuel down into the tanks by any chance?,,if so they stir up all the junk and moisture at the bottom,,even though they have filters on the pumps some of that stuff still gets by,,ask me how I know.... I never get fuel while there is a tanker on site dumping at any station,,just drive on by........

Klotz Benol is the best smelling two cycle oil in the world.....anybody with 2 stroke 50's should try it at least once,,using it too long can cause the head and exhaust to gum up a little,,thats why its a racing oil,,those motors come apart quite often to be cleaned....but the smell of it is worth a little gum on the inside of the head IMO. It lubes better than synthetic also,,attracts right to the hot spots and does its job...bean oil

If he needs more fuel at take off he can try raising the needle,LOWERING THE CLIP. Not sure if it will help any though,,since its in the main jet circuit...it may,,cant hurt to try.

xyshannen Yup,,nothing smells better than a two stroke running on some castor oil blend,,I was running some in my scooter for a while to help the top end lubricate,,I would put 1oz into the tank,,Mmmmmmmmmm smells so good. When I was little I liked the smell of gas so much I got in trouble for sniffing it a couple times...lol...lucky Im still alive after some of the stupid stuff I did

Did you try raising the needle a little bit,,I never played with mine,,not even sure if it has a clip with different slots,,or you have to shim it with small washers?
I know when playing with motorized bike motors the needle being moved up/down plays a big role in how they run through the band....not too sure on GY6's.

A 500 Cat Diesel with 80,000lbs behind climbing a 1 mile hill will put out more emissions than all of our scooters put together in one year...........thats not fact just my edumacated guess lol.

You just have to look at what you buy,,most of the hand tools with lifetime on them are great quality,,and wont break the bank like Snap on or Mac...for auto, scooter, and small engine stuff its perfect!

I wanted to add,, I was at HF today and noticed alot of their Pittsburgh hand tools like sockets,ratchets,ect.....are made in Taiwan now,,they seem like pretty good quality, plus you get the lifetime guarantee,,just hope the prices don't go up too high..

Hmmmm,,guess i will steer clear of them new ones...I kinda like my stock one so far..something in the CVT gets real grabby when moisture is in the air and the scoot is cold,,not sure what it is yet...
Wonder why they would change something that was working good?
