I got out old "Minnie Mouse" and let her stretch her legs on the freeway... Sure did feel GOOD! And do those whitewalls ever need a cleaning and touching up after a winter sitting... Cruisin at 45-50 mph 6K rpm is perfect IMO..do you have a pipe and uni filter on that scooter? If so you may want to try a 120 just too see if it gets rid of the top end bog....Im sure it will  |

I know you guys agree,I wont post anymore political stuff on this site just because its such a great scooter site and I don't want to stir up any animosity.There are plenty of other places we can voice out opinions like youtube and yahoo.

The one John posted looks pretty good of a clone,,grade 8 screws and all from the looks of it.
I have a clone and its been great,,the hardware is really hard with good quality aluminum housing.
Alley told me where to buy it but now I forget,,it took a couple weeks to arrive so Im sure it was china..lol..I paid like $70 for it a few years ago.

Yeh , they made a remake of " true grit " a few years ago . it was really good. I bought it when it came out on blu-ray . Its crazy when a president can so blatantly defy the constitution and the laws of our country , and no one does anything about it. Also its ashame when we have a president that can make race relations so much better in our country but instead decides its better to make it worse , and when the actions of the president and attorney general lead to the deaths of law enforcement, and others . and still nothing is done? This is the most disgraceful administration ever to set foot in Washington. I better stop thinking about it , I get to worked up ,lol Thats right Geh,, Im not afraid to say it,,Obama is a Muslim with the Spirit of Antichrist,,that guy is the worst president America ever had,,I know they all lie a bit,,but this dummy created ISIS,,I have no idea what he is thinking other than he wants Israel to be destroyed..cant believe he got TWO terms man,,scares me to think all those people voted for him again,,i lost respect for alot of people in this country,,I hope things turn around before its too late man....sorry if I offended anybody on here but truth is truth and this guy has to go!! No Geh,,the carry is very hard to get here,,i just have my firearms ID card and have to apply for a pistol permit every time I buy a pistol,,its $65 plus wait time for over two months,,if you have a business that is in a high crime rate area NJ will give you a permit to keep a pistol behind the counter,,or a carry permit,,but its very hard...I plan on moving to Pa. one of these years cause I'm not a huge fan of NJ gun laws,,if somebody breaks into my house,,I have to prove that they where going to try and kill me first if I shoot them,,if I don't have that proof,,i can go to jail.So Jersey stinks man,,but i tell ya what,,if somebody comes in my house at night or whenever,,and they are not invited and acting like they want to steal,kill,or rape,,I'm gonna blow their head clean off....will have to deal with the law later,,safety of my family comes first,,and if I have to sit in jail to protect them ,,,,so be it....

I sold most of my guns in tough times years ago but have acquired a Bersa Thunder .45 ACP and a Stoeger P-350 tactical 12 gauge with 18" barrel and red dot lazer,,just for home defense and who knows what else...they might cut my head off but i promise you I aint going down unless I bring a few of them down with me....lol..that P-350 sits right along side my bed at night with the tube packed 3-1\2" slug 00 buck staggered...and I got a couple 25 shot shell belts and my butt has 8.

Harbor Freight has a float charger for alot less money than that and it works pretty good from what I read..i have a Schumaker,,I only use it in the Winter,,my stock battery is on its 3rd season and its still going strong,,dont think I ever heard of one going more than 2 years so Im on borrowed time...lol |

From what I know lithium batteries are great,,but will give not much warning when going dead,,they are either on or off,,so it could just fall on its face one day with little to no warning.

Kickback for me only happened with the fixed cheap advanced timing CDI's,,it was like the motor would go right up to the compression stroke or just before it,,then it would fire too soon and send the motor spinning backwards really fast,,it then would slam the cam stopper,,which I no longer have,,but sometimes it seems like the starter gear would take a beating if it was still engaged.
I have not had a weak battery yet,,Im still using the stock junk Chinese battery on its 3rd season and still going strong...we will see lol.
I couldn't see parts lasting too long with that CDI in there,,I'm glad i found this blue one,,I really need to shoot it with a light like John said,,maybe its just a stock CDI with no rev limiter,,who knows???

Lean is mean,,but thats only on the track and racing motors get refreshed every other race or so,,for longevity,reliability,and efficiency,,we need to run just right,,a little on the rich side keeps things cooler on these small high revers.

Holy molly this thread took off from my last visit,,leave for a few hours and there are 20 more posts...lol..you guys!!!
My motor kicked back so hard a few times I thought the starter gear and the cam stopper was going to break into pieces,,that doesn't happen anymore,,after the blue CDI I got from Progress Racing which I think are the same as Johns( I need to shoot it with a light),,and my BBK,,its starts smoother than when it was stock..
Im from New Joisey...hehehehe......welcome to New Joisey,,,now go home!!

As long as your engine doesnt kick back real hard and slam the cam stopper or the starter you should be fine with a stock starter clutch for atleast 15K miles i would think..if you get kick back,,get a CDI from John,,he has the best ones!
