Nothing wrong with that type of connector if you use it properly . You put some No-lox or some dielectric grease on it, and use the proper crimping tool. Not a hammer ;Dand it would'nt hurt to use heat shrink tubing over it.

I already have 900Km on mine and it never skipped a beat exept for when the blue racing CDI went out on me,,I got a black one off ebay that has no rev limiter and advances timing some and I love it so far!! Plan on going on a 140 mile trip this Summer with it...and yes I will bring my cell phone and tow strap...lol I would bring a small toolkit, and maybe a spare plug, belt &cdi just in case, but i think you'll have no problem (i hope)

Yeah, I have to agree with that because you lean into curves. However, If you are driving slowly down a trail at night. The bar mounted is better.( not that i ride down dark trails all th time) but i have once or twice ;D

I put 16000 miles on my last one. only thing i replaced was 1 belt 6 roller weights and several bottles of oil. Oh and a couple of plugs. Drove it in summer &winter It only became a little unreliable toward the end, so I bought another. I still have it though. Lets see.... $800.00, &7 yrs of riding it ,16000 miles.Boy, It must've been a real JUNK!!!! It was a BAJA sc50 with the QUINGJANG motor.
