Ok.. Yeah may very well be the clutch.. I tried to take the variator off today to then remove the clutch to inspect it and put some wd-40 on the springs... BUT I couldn't get the nut loose, I will try a different method another time.. fine sandpaper, 600 grit? The scooter has about 1500kms, tho the teller says 1200 because the cable had broken not long ago. tiopedro The way I take the nut off the clutch is put my brake lock on. your scoot mat not have 1. But you can use a zip tie on brake lever to lock the rear spindle. Then I use my cheep impact wrench to remove the nut. 600 grit will do fine. I use anything 240 and above. Dave

Guess I'll break down and move over from scootdawg. athensga.craigslist.org/mcy/3804014777.html Make me a reasonable offer, this scoot rocks and I have loved it but its time to move on and up. Lots of life left in this guy, over $1000 in upgrades in the last 12 months, brand new Avon tires. Come and get it! Good luck with that...Lol. DAve

The clutch pads are probably glazed. The same way brake pads do. If so a light scuff with a fine sand paper will take care of that. How many Miles or kilometers are on your scoot? Nice looking scoot. Dave
