I don't ever have to worry about someone stealing my scooter, knock on wood! I live in a small town in North Carolina, I even leave my scoot running half the time, when running errands, getting booze and such....not trying to brag, just no problems with my situation...

My brother thinks that he might need taller gears. The bike is a 50cc VIP with the large bbk I think it's the 57mm bbk, it has the performance head and A-9 cam. Right now it has 6gram roller weights with a koso variator and koso 1500 torque spring, 40 mph it's hitting 9000 rpms, we had 10gram weights in it before comfortable at 8000 rpms at 40-50 mph. Guess it needs taller gears?

Doesn't matter guys just a good brand of oil does not have to be anything special. Any good brand 10W40 Oil will be just fine. I personally use Castrol GTX 10w40 in my cars and in my Trike. Don't forget you will be changing it every 500-1000 miles. Alleyoop ok thanks guys!! |

The stock rockers are fine use 15 40 rotella t for first 500 miles isn't rotella cheap crappy oil for diesil trucks? At least they told me its for diesils at my Advance auto? Is there something else I can use? what is Rotella t? Do I need to get the T kind? |

They probably told you that because they don't carry it(HAHA). Alleyoop yea they carry the rotella, is that what I need, just 15/40? |

You might want to take a real good look at your clutch champ. Even the cheapest poopiekaka belts dont break that fast. the clutch set up is: koso type variator, 6 gram weights, 1500 torque spring, stock clutch and springs. |

Stock belt broke on my brothers 50 VIP with bbk and cvt upgraded, etc. Two miles from home. So I put another Chinese crap belt on cause I couldn't afford the Gates belt about 2 weeks ago. Well it broke on me last night about 5 miles from home, in the dark out in the middle of nowhere in the country, deer, coyotes howling,etc. I'm putting on a Gates belt this week. Pushing up a few hills, coasting down hills, took me 1-1/2 hours to home!

Will my stock exhaust studs and bolts work with my new NCY big valve head? I don't know if the head comes with them or not? Just wondering if I need to order studs/bolts, and what size?

Why not order online I did no issue I did order online, got 61mm NCY BBK of eBay, matching NCY 61MM Big valve head from monsterGy6.com, and A-10 Cam from scooter elements. I just wanted to ask Walt some questions, that's why I wanted to call. |

I put a 60mm kit from scooter elements on three scoots slid right in no issue. Well, I've already ordered the NCY 61MM BBK, and the matching big valve head, and A-10 camshaft, just hope all the gaskets are included.... |
